Software Engineer
Japan
Summary
👤
SeniorYusuke Kaga is a bilingual project manager and former software engineer with 10 years of cross-disciplinary experience bridging Japanese and European markets from Madrid. At JETRO he connects corporates, VCs, and startups to structure investment acceleration programs and launch market-entry initiatives across Agri/foodtech, web3, and fintech. His background blends hands-on technical work—web development with Angular/Figma, digital marketing analytics, and content evaluation for AI—with laboratory research experience in biomedical engineering. He has led international teams, designed investor matchmaking pipelines with partners like Techstars, and produced multimedia content to promote Japan’s startup ecosystem in English. Comfortable translating between research, product and commercial stakeholders, he combines scientific rigor with practical program design to accelerate global partnerships. An interesting detail: he has evaluated over 50,000 social media posts to improve AI algorithms while also coding civic tech like the Ehkane waste-reuse platform.
