Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolYusuke Kawasaki is a serial founder and technologist with 20 years of experience building startups and R&D organizations from Tokyo’s Chiyoda district. He founded KAWANET and co-founded THE GUILD and KURUQS after leading Media Technology Labs and serving as Chief Architect at Recruit, blending product-forward engineering with strategic investment and technical appraisal. Comfortable shifting between hands-on architecture and investor-level evaluation, he has repeatedly turned early-stage ideas into operating ventures and advised Silicon Valley-backed startups. His background includes a strong academic foundation in computer science from Chiba University and early entrepreneurial grit—starting a company as a student working on a 16KB/s connection. Known as a hacker, writer and consultant, he often bridges deep technical design with business strategy. Colleagues describe him as a founder who thinks like an engineer and invests like a technologist.
