Top SchoolZach Biesse-Fitton is an aviation-focused technology leader and QantasLink Q400 Fleet Manager with 12 years’ experience blending hands-on flying, technical systems work, and product strategy. He progressed from flight instruction to captaincy and technical pilot roles while directing a software firm (Flare Technologies) and shaping technology strategy for healthcare at Nurse Next Door. Equally comfortable in the cockpit and the codebase, Zach has developed avionics/EFB software experience (AvPlanEFB, FlyPelican) alongside operational fleet oversight. His background in emergency services and competitive freestyle mogul skiing reflects a disciplined, safety-first mindset and resilience under pressure. Based in Melbourne, he brings a pragmatic cross-domain perspective—uniting aviation operations, software delivery, and training management—to improve safety, efficiency, and crew performance.
