Top SchoolZach Hale is a Lead Software Engineer and UX-focused technologist with 18 years of experience building scalable web applications and shipping customer-driven products. He co-founded and leads the technical development of Bike Insights and Everyday Rides—two active, community-focused sites that combine complex geometry and data pipelines with polished front-end UX—while currently driving UX engineering at Cisco ThousandEyes. Zach is a full‑stack pragmatist who prefers solving problems at the user interface but regularly architects serverless backends, queues, and search-driven systems using React, Next.js, Node, GraphQL, AWS Lambda and SQS. He brings startup founder instincts to enterprise teams, pairing product design sensibility with deep hands-on work across databases, ElasticSearch, and Ruby on Rails. An open-source contributor to projects like Google’s Web Stories for WordPress, he blends accessibility and publishing UX improvements with measurable engineering outcomes.
