Top SchoolZachary Steiner is a Technical Lead II in Denver with 11 years of experience blending psychology research rigor with product-focused front-end engineering and design systems. He moves teams from idea to implementation, having led design-system initiatives and UI development at HubSpot, JumpCloud, and high-traffic consumer publishers, and has a track record of unifying fragmented libraries into monorepos and automated release pipelines. A PhD-trained scientist-practitioner, he leverages quantitative and qualitative methods to translate user research into elegant, accessible interfaces and measurable product improvements. He’s equally comfortable building React component libraries, End-to-End test suites, and tooling that speeds delivery, and he often shapes governance and onboarding to scale adoption. Notably, his background in industrial-organizational psychology informs how he coaches teams, writes product-level acceptance criteria, and designs processes that reduce friction between design and engineering.
