Top SchoolZachary Wassall is a Senior Software Engineer II with 11 years of experience building software across medical devices and interaction-tech companies, currently at Gentuity in Greater Boston. He holds both a BS and MS in Computer Science from Northeastern University and has a steady track record at firms like Globus Medical and Leap Motion/Ultraleap where he shipped production systems. Zachary blends systems-level thinking with practical product focus, informed by low-level hobbyist programming on TI graphing calculators that sharpens his attention to efficiency and constrained environments. He moves comfortably between long-tenured roles and high-impact product work, contributing to regulated, safety-conscious codebases. Colleagues would describe him as a reliable engineer who pairs academic depth with hands-on implementation across the stack.
