Top SchoolZander Sparrow is a full-stack software engineer with 10 years of experience blending cloud-native web development and hands-on hardware skills, currently building software at Blue Origin. He brings deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, React, Flask/Django, and serverless AWS architectures, having delivered multi- to 100x API performance improvements and scalable production systems. Zander has led full-stack teams, designed REST APIs, and implemented containerized deployments and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible. His background as a machinist and electronic assembler gives him unusual fluency in soldering, hardware assembly, and integrating physical devices with software. Comfortable in both startup and aerospace contexts, he pairs curiosity and whimsy with a disciplined approach to reliable, high-performance systems. Based in Renton, WA, he combines academic training in cellular and molecular biology with formal software engineering training from Hack Reactor, which informs a pragmatic, evidence-driven engineering style.
