Zerun WANG | 王泽润
Summary
👤
SeniorZerun Wang is a data scientist with nine years of experience bridging academic research and industry R&D, currently at LINEヤフー after a postdoctoral stint at the University of Tokyo. His work centers on creating higher-quality, lower-cost training data for AI—especially generating valuable synthetic datasets with generative models and leveraging noisy, unlabeled real-world data. He has applied these skills across computer vision tasks such as object and lane detection, image deblurring, and has hands-on experience in neural network pruning, knowledge distillation, and model deployment. Zerun’s background spans top-tier research internships at Baidu, OPPO, CyberAgent, and HoloMatic, plus product-minded game design roles, reflecting a rare blend of rigor and creativity. Fluent in both research publication and production constraints, he often focuses on pragmatic methods that make large models cheaper to train without sacrificing performance. Passionate about Touhou-inspired game design, he brings an unexpected creative lens to technical problem solving.
