Top SchoolZhe Liu is a software engineer with 10 years of experience, currently building backend systems at LinkedIn after contributing to AWS’s Aurora PostgreSQL Babelfish project. He has deep practical experience in database engines, query processing, and distributed systems from roles at AWS, ThoughtSpot, and earlier work on virtualization tooling at Citrix. Comfortable across Java, Spring, testing frameworks and CI pipelines, Zhe blends systems-level design (datatypes, parsers, collation) with pragmatic engineering practices that ship reliable features. His academic background from Zhejiang University and a master’s in computer engineering from UIUC complements hands-on projects like a distributed graph database and VR course-authoring tools. Colleagues would note his pattern of tackling complex, cross-component problems and delivering testable, production-ready solutions.
