Top SchoolZhonghua Lee is an experienced open source leader and engineer with nearly a decade focused on cloud, storage and big data systems, currently driving open source contribution and community architecture at Huawei and openeuler. He founded the huaweicloud GitHub organization and helped establish the openeuler community, leading cross-project work spanning OpenStack, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Foundry and storage projects like Cinder, Manila and Swift. His background includes five years designing scale-out NAS storage (OceanStor 9000) and building Huawei’s SDS controller, giving him deep production storage and distributed-systems expertise. Zhonghua combines hands-on development, community sponsorship and team leadership—running research teams that contribute providers and integrations for public cloud ecosystems. He is pragmatic about bridging vendor platforms and upstream communities, often working on the less-visible but critical provider and integration layers. Based in Chengdu, he shares technical writing and updates via his blog (newto.me), reflecting an ongoing commitment to public knowledge sharing.
